friends, or going skating with your children, Apex Mountain Resort is the place to be in winter.
Avoid the crowds and lift
lines while discovering a resort community with character. And don't let our 2,000 feet vertical fool you. Apex's
terrain is famous for its skiability and variety. We've got everything from well groomed beginner runs to some of
North America's best "double-black diamond" runs. Ski one of these babies top-to-bottom and you'll
understand why the locals are always smiling!

Skating loop Skate through the forest on the 1 km long Zamboni maintained ice
loop. The Apex Village skating loop is FREE and lit until 11 pm.
Hockey Rink The NHL sized outdoor hockey rink
is great for a pick-up hockey game, curling, bonspiels and skating practices. It is FREE of charge; however private bookings
are available through the office at Apex Mountain Resort. The rink is lit, Zamboni maintained and available for group use. Skates are available for rent, ask at the resort office.
Tobogganing & Tube Park Looking for an activity everyone will enjoy?
Try the Tim Horton's Tube Park at Apex Mountain Resort. The tube rental includes a "Magic Carpet"
lift pass, so people of all ages and skills can enjoy the ride! Or are you looking for a more traditional
Canadian tobogganing experience? Bring your sled and spend the afternoon hiking up and sliding down the old lift line
on Mt. Riordan, a short walking distance away from Apex Whitetail Chalet. It's an exciting ride, and the exercise
will convince you having a hot tub is a really good idea!

Snowmobiling Is snowmobiling more your speed? The area is a favorite
for locals, just ask your hosts where the best places are. Or maybe you'd like to rent snowmobiles for your group? Located
in the heart of Apex Village, Apex Alpine Adventures offers some of the best sledding the Okanagan has to offer. It is a day of incredible riding and stunning mountain
scenery, all organized by a professional guide.

Cross Country Skiing / Nordic Skiing The
Nickel Plate Nordic Centre, only 6 km from Apex Mountain Resort, offers world-class cross country skiing. The Day Lodge is open daily from 9 AM
till 3 PM. - 65 km Groomed Classic/Skating Trails

Snowshoeing Snowshoeing is a popular activity at Apex Mountain Resort. Snowshoe rentals and
guided tours are available in the Village, or bring your own and reach the summit of one of the many local peaks. The
view will be worth the climb! Ask your hosts where the best routes are.
